PHOENIX, Arizona, Feb. 25 -- The Center for Biological Diversity issued the following news release:
The National Congress of American Indians and conservation groups urged Sen. Martha McSally (R-Ariz.) to cosponsor the Grand Canyon Centennial Protection Act, which permanently bans new uranium mining across 1 million acres of public land around Grand Canyon National Park.
