JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-RANDOLPH, Texas, Feb. 24 -- The U.S. Air Force Personnel Center issued the following news:
Air Force officials have selected 1,184 master sergeants for promotion to senior master sergeant out of 15,544 eligible for a selection rate of 7.62 percent in the 20E8 promotion cycle.
While this selection rate is lower than in previous years, the 20E8 promotion allocations meet global requirements for Air Force senior master sergeants.
