ALBANY, New York, Feb. 22 -- New York State Comptroller Thomas P. DiNapoli issued the following news release:
New York City projects a surplus of more than $2.7 billion for fiscal year (FY) 2020, up from $550 million in November 2019, which it plans to transfer to FY 2021 to help balance that year's budget, according to a report released by State Comptroller Thomas P. DiNapoli.
