WASHINGTON, Feb. 22 -- Rep. Frank Pallone Jr., D-New Jersey, chairman of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, issued the following statement on the announcement from the Environmental Protection Agency that it will begin the process to regulate per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances in drinking water:
"The Trump EPA's proposed regulatory determination is, at best, little more than a half-step in the right direction.
