WASHINGTON, Feb. 22 -- Rep. Vicente Gonzalez, D-Texas, issued the following news release:
Congressman Vicente Gonzalez (TX-15) announced $49,900 in federal grant funding for the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) for research on brain aging, Alzheimer's disease, and dementia. The funding will be used to study the impact and risk factors of each on people residing in low-resource settings and in low and middle-income countries.
