HOUSTON, Texas, Feb. 20 -- BMC Software issued the following news:
BMC, a global leader in IT solutions for the digital enterprise, announced the signing of a definitive agreement to purchase RSM Partners, a global provider of services, software, and expertise with a 100% focus on IBM Z(R) mainframes.
The transaction is subject to close in the coming months, and it will be BMC's second mainframe security or services acquisition in the last 15 months.
