PATCHOGUE, New York, Feb. 15 -- Rep. Lee Zeldin, R-New York, issued the following news release:
Congressman Lee Zeldin (R, NY-1) and Congressman Tom Suozzi (D, NY-3) announced that United Veterans Beacon House (UVBH) has been awarded a 5-year contract to operate the homeless shelter in Building 11 at the Northport VA Medical Center. Following an extended renovation period, Building 11 failed to pass safety inspections, which left it unoccupied while it has undergone further repairs. . . .
