WASHINGTON, Feb. 7 -- Sen. Bob Menendez, D-New Jersey, ranking Democratic member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, issued the following statement after President Trump fired Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman and Ambassador to the European Union Gordon D. Sondland:
