WASHINGTON, Feb. 5 -- Rep. Eliot L. Engel, D-New York, chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, and Sen. Robert Menendez, D-New Jersey, ranking member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, issued the following statement on the 9th anniversary of the New Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty entering into force:
