WASHINGTON, Feb. 15 -- Rep. Veronica Escobar, D-Texas, issued the following statement:
Congresswoman Veronica Escobar (TX-16), member of the House Armed Services Committee, issued the following after the U.S. Department of Defense notified Congress it will reprogram $3.8 billion of military funds to build President Trump's border wall:
"President Trump claims to love our military but his latest attempt to steal critical funding from our troops demonstrates his comp . . .
