ACLU Issues Statement on Policy Requiring Consent to Board Buses

NEW YORK, Feb. 15 -- The American Civil Liberties Union, a 501(c)3 non-profit that works to defend and preserve the individual rights and liberties guaranteed by the Constitution and laws of the U.S., issued the following statement by Andrea Flores, deputy director of immigration policy:

U.S. Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) confirmed that it has updated its policy regarding immigration checks on buses, requiring agents to "gain access to the bus with the consent of the company' . . .
