CORNING, New York, Feb. 15 -- Rep. Tom Reed, R-New York, issued the following news release on Feb. 13:
Rep. Tom Reed Announced a $1,552,554 Grant for the Southern Tier Network in Corning.
The funds will be used to provide about 84 miles of fiber loops to increase the network's redundancy and resilience. Southern Tier Network is a non-profit local development corporation which was established to own, build and manage a $12.2 million regional fiber optic backbone in Chemu . . .
