WASHINGTON, Feb. 15 -- The Smithsonian Institution issued the following news release:
The Smithsonian's National Museum of the American Indian, George Gustave Heye Center in New York will open the Mili Kapi Cafe Feb. 14. Mili Kapi means "give me some coffee" in the Native language of the Lenape people, the original inhabitants of New York City. The new cafe will be located on the museum's second floor and run by Restaurant Associates.
