Reps. Lowey, Visclosky Issue Statement on President Trump Reprogramming of Military Funding for Border Wall

WASHINGTON, Feb. 14 -- Rep. Nita M. Lowey, D-New York, chairwoman of the House Appropriations Committee, and Rep. Peter Visclosky, D-Indiana, chairman of the Defense Appropriations Subcommittee, issued the following joint statement on the Trump administration's reprogramming of National Guard and military procurement funding for border wall construction:

"President Trump is once again disrespecting the separation of powers and endangering our security by raiding military resour . . .
