WASHINGTON, Feb. 14 -- Sen. Deb Fischer, R-Nebraska, issued the following news release on Feb. 13:
U.S. Senator Deb Fischer (R-Neb.), a member of the Senate Commerce and Agriculture Committees, joined U.S. Senators Tina Smith (D-Minn.), Mike Rounds (R-S.D.), and Tammy Baldwin (D-Wis.), to host the first meeting of a bipartisan rural working group with rural leaders and stakeholders in Washington. This working group is meant to help address the challenges facing rural America.
