WASHINGTON, Feb. 14 -- Rep. Veronica Escobar, D-Texas, issued the following statement:
Congresswoman Veronica Escobar (TX-16), Vice Chair of the Democratic Women's Caucus and member of the House Judiciary Committee, issued the following statement on her vote in support of H.J.Res. 79, a bipartisan resolution that would remove the deadline for the ratification of the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA):
"As our nation continues to celebrate the centennial of the 19th Amen . . .
