WASHINGTON, Feb. 14 -- Rep. Andy Biggs, R-Arizona, issued the following statement:
The Department of Transportation (DOT) announced that it will award $10 million to Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport to begin construction of a new air traffic control tower.
"This grant is an enormous victory not only for the East Valley, but for the entire Phoenix metropolitan area. From the moment I entered office in 2017, I have fought hard to secure the necessary funding for Gateway . . .
