KNOXVILLE, Tennessee, Feb. 12 -- The Southern Alliance for Clean Energy issued the following news release:

In August of 2019, the City of Knoxville passed carbon reduction goals that aim to cut city government carbon emissions 50% from 2005 levels by 2030 and cut community-wide carbon emissions 80% by 2050.
