WASHINGTON, Feb. 12 -- Rep. Tim Walberg, R-Michigan, ranking Republican member of the House Education and Labor subcommittee on Health, Employment, Labor and Pensions, issued the following statement in response to the amendment in the nature of a substitute at a markup of the Ban Surprise Billing Act (H.R. 5800):
