NEW YORK, Feb. 12 -- The U.S. Department of Labor's Bureau of Labor Statistics - New York-New Jersey Regional Information Office issued the following news release:
In 2019, union members accounted for 21.0 percent of wage and salary workers in New York and 15.7 percent in New Jersey, compared with 22.3 and 14.9 percent, respectively, in 2018, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported.
