Friedman Foundation for Educational Choice Issues Statement on Tennessee Education Savings Account Program

INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana, Feb. 7 -- The Friedman Foundation for Educational Choice issued the following statement by Legal Affairs Vice President Leslie Hiner on Feb. 6 regarding a lawsuit filed against the enacted Tennessee education savings account program:

"This is a sad day for families in Tennessee.

"When government leaders have no faith in families, that's a problem. This is the situation in Nashville and Memphis, where today, Metro Nashville, Davidson Coun . . .
