WASHINGTON, Feb. 6 -- Rep. Fred Upton, R-Michigan, issued the following news release on Feb. 5:
U.S. Rep. Fred Upton, R-St. Joseph, voted for and the House passed the bipartisan Great Lakes Restoration Initiative (GLRI) Reauthorization Act. The legislation - H.R. 4031 - reauthorizes the GLRI for another five years when it expires at the end of FY 2021. It passed 373 to 45.
Upton was an original co-sponsor of the GLRI Reauthorization Act.
