NEW YORK, Feb. 6 -- The Police Benevolent Association of New York issued the following statement by President Patrick J. Lynch:
"It is now clear that there we have a public safety emergency in New York City. New Yorkers need to reject Mayor de Blasio's easy excuses. Bail reform is not the only problem here.
