WASHINGTON, Feb. 6 -- Rep. Steve Cohen, D-Tennessee, issued the following news release:

Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09), a senior member of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee which has oversight of the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) wrote to President Trump to criticize the lack of diversity in his nominations to the TVA's board of directors and to urge him to nominate minority and more women candidates to make it representative of the region it serves.
