WASHINGTON, Feb. 1 -- Rep. John Moolenaar, R-Michigan, issued the following news release on Jan. 31:
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers announced it has awarded the first construction contract for a new lock at the Soo Locks to Trade West Construction of Nevada.
