NEW YORK, Feb. 1 -- The Innocence Project issued the following news release on Jan. 31:
Tonight, the Jacksonville Mayor and City Council voted to release forensic evidence for further testing in the case of Ledell Lee.
They have signed an order drafted by the Innocence Project and the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) to immediately allow for DNA and fingerprint analysis in response to the lawsuit filed on January 23rd.
