CHICAGO, Illinois, Jan. 31 -- The Society of American Archivists issued the following news release:
SAA and the Council of State Archivists issued a joint memorandum to the Office of Management and Budget to oppose the sale of the National Archives and Records Administration's (NARA's) building in Seattle, Washington.
SAA and CoSA join the Congressional delegations of Alaska, Idaho, Oregon, and Washington in opposing the closure of NARA's Seattle location.
