NEW YORK, Jan. 31 -- The American Civil Liberties Union, a 501(c)3 non-profit that works to defend and preserve the individual rights and liberties guaranteed by the Constitution and laws of the U.S., issued the following statement:
A reported U.S. Customs and Border Protection directive appears to show that the agency did, indeed, direct its officers to target travelers based on their national origin, and even interrogate them about their religion and beliefs, following the assassi . . .
