WASHINGTON, Jan. 31 -- Rep. Carolyn Maloney, D-New York, issued the following floor remarks to urge all of her colleagues to join her in voting for Rep. Barbara Lee's amendment to repeal the 2002 Authorization for Use of Military Force:
"I rise in strong support of the Lee Amendment, to repeal the Authorization for Use of Military Force against Iraq.
"In 2002, this chamber voted to invade Iraq on what would later prove to be false and misleading intelligence . . .
