WASHINGTON, Jan. 30 -- Rep. Tim Walberg, R-Michigan, ranking Republican member of the House Education and Labor Subcommittee on Health, Employment, Labor and Pensions, issued the following opening statement on Jan. 28 at a joint hearing with the Subcommittee on Workforce Protections regarding maternal and infant health:
