DETROIT, Michigan, Jan. 29 -- The American Civil Liberties Union of Michigan issued the following news release:

The American Civil Liberties Union of Michigan (ACLU) sent a letter to the Jackson Police Chief and Jackson County Sheriff urging the police department to end foot chases one year since the police-involved killing of 29-year-old Joey Ramirez.
