WASHINGTON, Jan. 28 -- Rep. Eliot Engel, D-New York, issued the following statement on Jan. 27 on the 3rd anniversary of President Trump's Muslim travel ban:
"Today marks three years since President Trump signed his discriminatory Muslim Travel Ban Executive Order. At the time of its signing the President claimed that shutting out Muslim refugees and immigrants would make America safer, which of course was never true. In reality, his Muslim Ban has only served to shut the door . . .
