WASHINGTON, Jan. 22 -- Rep. Eliot Engel, D-New York, issued the following statement on 47th anniversary of Roe vs. Wade:
"As we mark the 47th anniversary of Roe v. Wade, a landmark decision cementing a women's right to choose, we cannot lose sight of the efforts to undermine the tremendous progress we've made in promoting reproductive justice. With some states working to rollback this progress, the hard fought gains we've made in reproductive health are now more tenuous than ev . . .
