WASHINGTON, Jan. 21 -- Rep. Sean Patrick Maloney, D-New York, issued the following statement in response to the stabbing of a Putnam County sheriff's deputy:
"Randy and I are sending prayers of a full recovery to the Putnam County Sheriff's Office deputy attacked yesterday in Putnam Valley. We also hold their family and Hudson Valley's police force in our thoughts.
