WASHINGTON, Jan. 18 -- Rep. Eliot Engel, D-New York, issued the following statement on Jan. 16:
On January 15, 2020, the Energy and Commerce Health Subcommittee held a hearing on modernizing federal oversight of cannabis. Congressman Engel, a top Member of the committee, submitted a statement for the record underscoring the public health need for updated regulations:
