DETROIT, Michigan, Jan. 18 -- The United Automobile Workers issued the following statement by Vice President Terry Dittes on the General Motors investments in Tonawanda, Spring Hill:
"UAW members during the 40-day strike last fall received significant economic commitments to many plants.
