WASHINGTON, Jan. 18 -- Sen. Lamar Alexander, R-Tennessee, issued the following statement on the Martin Luther King Jr. Day:
"In the summer of 1963, I stood on the National Mall as an intern at the U.S. Department of Justice and listened to Dr. King's 'I Have a Dream' speech.
