VICKSBURG, Mississippi, Jan. 17 -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers-Vicksburg District issued the following news release:
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Vicksburg District provided an updated forecast Jan. 17:
According to National Weather Service forecasts, the lower Mississippi River valley is expected to receive one-half-to-two inches of additional rainfall over the next seven days. The NWS is predicting the Mississippi River to crest at 37.5 feet at Arkans . . .
