WASHINGTON, Jan. 17 -- Sen. Lamar Alexander, R-Tennessee, chairman of the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee, issued the following statement on Jan. 16 after the Senate passed on an 89-10 vote, the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement Act:
"Today, the United States Senate approved the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement. This is very good news for Tennessee workers, especially autoworkers, in 88 of our 95 counties.
