WASHINGTON, Jan. 16 -- Rep. Carolyn Maloney, D-New York, chairwoman of the House Oversight and Reform Committee, issued the following statement after the House voted on a resolution (H.Res. 798) to appoint managers for the impeachment trial of President Trump and transmit the articles of impeachment to the Senate:
