WASHINGTON, Jan. 15 -- Rep. Don Beyer, D-Virginia, issued the following statement after House Speaker Nancy Pelosi named him as the Vice Chair of the Joint Economic Committee, replacing Rep. Carolyn Maloney, D-New York:
