WASHINGTON, Jan. 15 -- Rep. Vicente Gonzalez, D-Texas, issued the following statement in response to reports that the Trump Administration was moving $7.2 billion in Pentagon funds for the border wall:
"The President's plan to weaken our military and siphon off counternarcotic funding to fulfill an egotistical campaign promise of building a border wall does nothing but waste taxpayer dollars and cripple other critical national security programs.
