NEW YORK, Jan. 15 -- The New York City Department of Parks and Recreation issued the following news release:
NYC Parks declares Mulchfest 2020 a success with 48,230 trees collected for recycling during this year's event, setting a new Parks record. Mulchfest, part of the New York City's holiday tradition, encourages New Yorkers to make greening a family activity--turning holiday trees into mulch that can be used for gardening and to increase soil fertility.
