AUSTIN, Texas, Jan. 14 -- Gov. Greg Abbott, R-Texas, issued the following news release:
Governor Greg Abbott has reappointed Lloyd Garland, M.D. and appointed Rick Galindo, III to the Risk Management Board for terms set to expire on February 1, 2025. The State Office of Risk Management administers insurance services obtained by state agencies, including the self-insured government employees workers' compensation insurance program and the state risk management programs.
