OLYMPIA, Washington, Jan. 11 -- The U.S. Department of Agriculture's National Agricultural Statistics Service - Northwest Regional Field Office issued the following news release:
All wheat planted in Idaho in 2019 totaled 1.20 million acres, up slightly from 2018. Harvested area, at 1.13 million acres, is down 1 percent from the previous year. All wheat production totaled 98.8 million bushels, down 5 percent from last year. Yield is estimated at 87.8 bushels per acre, down 4.1 bushe . . .
