Rep. Cicilline Issues Statement on War Powers Vote

WASHINGTON, Jan. 11 -- Rep. David Cicilline, D-Rhode Island, issued the following statement on Jan. 9 regarding the War Powers vote:
"There is no question that President Trump's directive to kill a high-ranking Iranian general was a strategic setback. It forced us to suspend operations against ISIS. It led to Iran announcing it would no longer adhere to any of the limits imposed on its nuclear weapons program.
"It damaged our relationship with Iraq's governm . . .
