HOUSTON, Texas, Jan. 11 -- The American Civil Liberties Union of Texas issued the following news release:
The ACLU of Texas announced the appointment of Sarah Labowitz as its new policy director. Labowitz brings a strong track record of achievements in human rights and public policy to the role and the fight to protect Texans' civil rights.
In 2013, she co-founded the NYU Stern Center for Business and Human Rights, where her research and advocacy focused on labor rights . . .
