Today, Congressman Lee Zeldin (R, NY-1), Co-Chair of the National Labs Caucus, announced the Department of Energy (DOE) has selected Brookhaven National Lab (BNL) in Upton, New York, as the home of DOE's Electronic-Ion Collider (EIC). The EIC will be designed and constructed over ten years with an estimated cost of $2 billion.
