WASHINGTON, Jan. 10 -- Rep. John Moolenaar, R-Michigan, issued the following news release:
House Democrats blocked the House from considering a resolution honoring the men and women of the military who carried out the airstrike in Iraq against Iranian General Qassem Soleimani. Soleimani was in Iraq to meet with the terrorists who attacked the U.S. embassy in Iraq in late December and who killed an American citizen on December 27.
