WESTCHESTER, New York, Jan. 10 -- Rep. Eliot Engel, D-New York, issued the following news release:
Congressman Eliot L. Engel, U.S. Senator Charles Schumer, and U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand wrote to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers urging a "new start" designation for the Mamaroneck and Sheldrake Flood Risk Management Project, which would allow construction to begin to alleviate persistent flooding issues in Mamaroneck, New York.
